Our sessions are fully clothed and offered on portable massage tables, with hands-on or hands-off options. Guests often notice a sense of calm, clarity, and overall wellbeing after a session.
Reiki healing for two guests is typically around 45 minutes, with an additional 15 minutes for arrival, tea, and settling in. Please allow about 1 hour 15 minutes for the full experience.

Absolutely. Our sessions are designed to calm the nervous system, ease tension, and provide a sense of deep rest. Many guests describe it as a quiet pause, similar to an in-house massage, but at a slower, restorative pace.
No. As we practice traditional Usui style Reiki, the emphasis is on being clear channels or conduits of the Universal energy, without any well intentioned but unnecessary interference.
We remain quiet and respectful of your own unique experience.
When energy that has been stored in the body is released, it may be referred to as a cleansing or clearing.
As the energy in the body moves, it’s not uncommon to experience feelings of tingling, heat, cold, occasionally sharp pain, waves or other sensations.
These sensations indicate that energy is moving.
Some sensations may be strong or mild and sometimes nothing is felt at all, but the Reiki is flowing regardless.
Each client’s experience is unique and no two sessions will ever be the same.
Yes, Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive practice and is widely considered safe during pregnancy. Sessions are always adapted for comfort, with supportive positioning and the option of hands-on or hands-off healing, depending on what feels right for you.
Many expectant mothers choose Reiki to support relaxation, ease stress, and encourage a sense of calm during pregnancy. As with any wellness service, we recommend letting us know how far along you are and sharing any specific concerns beforehand, and consulting your healthcare provider if you have any medical conditions or complications.
Your comfort, safety, and wellbeing are always our priority.
No. We don’t use any added fragrances or scented products during our sessions. This is to ensure the experience is comfortable and suitable for guests who are sensitive to smells, have allergies, or simply prefer a fragrance-free environment.
Yes. Reiki is a non-invasive practice that can also be offered to animals. Many pets respond very naturally to it, often relaxing deeply during or after a session.
Animal Reiki is always guided by the animal’s comfort and choice, there is no force or restraint, and sessions are typically hands-off or lightly hands-on if the animal is receptive. It’s commonly used to support calmness, recovery after stress or injury, behavioural changes, or general wellbeing.
Reiki is not a replacement for veterinary care, but it can be a supportive complementary practice alongside professional treatment.

There is no "magic number" because Reiki isn't a one-size-fits-all prescription.
You may like to think of Reiki as like going on a one day retreat, or having a facial or massage, one session is a wonderful investment of your time and energy and can offer real benefits, often ongoing, while more regular treatments can yield deeper transformative results.
For Stress Relief / Relaxation: just one session can be a perfect "reset" after a tough week or big event.
For Deeper Healing / Chronic Issues: you may find that you benefit from a few more sessions.
After a session, it’s wise to pay attention to how you feel. Some will feel a "Reiki high” or blissed out, while others might feel a bit tired or emotional. This is YOUR body doing the work, in it's own unique way.
Note: While Reiki is a fantastic tool for wellness and emotional support, it is a complementary therapy. If you're dealing with a serious medical or psychological condition, speak with your doctor and think of Reiki as your support crew, not your sole technician!
Absolutely! You can definitely receive Reiki while seated. In fact, many practitioners and their clients actually prefer it for certain situations, and the energy "works" exactly the same way.
Reiki is incredibly flexible. While the image of someone lying on a massage table is the "standard" spa-like setup, it is by no means a requirement for the practice to be effective.
Why you might prefer to use a chair:
There are many reasons to opt for a seated session:
Physical Comfort: If you have back pain, breathing issues, or mobility constraints that make lying flat uncomfortable.
Accessibility: It’s often easier for people with disabilities or those who rely on the use of a wheelchair.
Personal Preference: Some people simply feel more comfortable, and therefore more relaxed, when sitting up.

" Healing is a shared practice, rooted in personal balance as much as in caring for others."
