Seasons of life

"At some point, perhaps we can no longer discern between our own grief and that of a galaxy being born and dying. Grieving is not only personal but cultural, historical, and archetypal. As it humbles and purifies, it opens a portal into the mystery.” Matt Licata.

I’ve been contemplating this time of change of seasons. The approach of Winter teaches us that Death is (an important) part of life. During the seasons of life, we will all encounter loss in large and small ways. Loss of those held near and dear, loss of relationship, or a job, or a dream. How do you manage the process of “letting go”? Through  these seasons, we encounter both waves and stillness, some we are meant to ride. Some storms are so intense and we can feel absolutely smashed by the waves. If you’ve been dumped by a wave, of loss, or endings, and the grief that follows, can you get back to surface again?  When “life goes on”, how do you and can you return to balance and find your equilibrium again? Can you grab your board and go out to ride another wave? Reiki offers a practice of acceptance and a restorative path to wellness. Please let us know if we can support you in this time of change.
