The Power of Om

Recently, I had the realisation that "cymatics" - the Science of sound made visible - perfectly explains and describes what I experienced many moons ago at a sacred place named Crystal Cascades in FNQ. I'd sat out on a huge rock in the river with the intention of meditating and had asked to receive a message for Solstice. I then chanted Om 3 times and opened my eyes to see what seemed to be all the fish in the river, surrounding me/the rock, all with their heads facing in and tails pointing out, in a Sun ray like mandala formation.

The most incredible sight I've ever witnessed! As I took it in, I asked my daughter, who'd distanced herself as “Mum" was chanting in a public place, again!! (how embarrassing!) to take a photo, but, of course, as soon as she moved they all swam off. She captured with, it was “Omazing”!

Following this divine experience in and with Nature, I changed the name of my chanting circle, at the time, to The Power of Om - as that was exactly what I learnt. The power of sound, vibration and frequency. I frequently share this story with those of like mind and heart, for encouragement. It hadn't taken me hours of meditation or chanting to bring, what appeared to me to be, all into perfect balance and harmony around me. It took only 3 breaths! 3 Oms. You may like to try it?
